"One star because I can't give zero. Disrespectful towards a parent who wanted just to give over a packed lunch. No it does not disrupt a child's learning if a dad hands in a lunch box he forgot once in a blue moon. The story I read just shows the contempt schools like this show towards parents these days .You need to realise that teaching the children is a privilege and treat is as such instead of believing that people are privileged to have their child in the school. #Ibacklunchdad"
"Nightingale is a great diverse mix school. Lovely teachers very approachable and willing to discuss my childs progress. My two children flourished. With a thorough “safe guarding policy”. I always felt my children were in a safe & nurturing environment. My children enjoyed all the various trips and events at Nightingale, especially the Kingwoods residential trip in yr6. Plenty of outdoor space for a child to run around and for various sporting activities which was a bonus for my kids , don’t get that in every primary school especially in London. The PTA are dedicated volunteers, some working parents find the time to organise social & fund raising events for the school: Summer fair, Cake sale, Halloween disco, Talent show, Year 6 disco & Tea Party. They even have links with Wanstead High School. My two enjoyed and made great friends. Through the parent community at Nightingale, I have also made lovely friends. Overall happy children & happy parents ."
"4 of my children have been here and had great teaching and pastoral care. This is a calm and spacious school and the SEN suppport has helped my son thrive. My children went to other smaller schools and I was nervous about moving them to such a big school but it was the right decision."
"The outstanding they got from ofsted, was dated over 10 years ago. Since then it's had a new head and roughly 80% of the existing long term staff upped and left, because of this new head. Don't be fooled by any good results they may have had, that's just from parents having enough of the school and taking the kids to tuition. How did she get the job????"
"This is an appalling example of a school who thinks its okay to put their political opinions in large on a board outside their school. Do they 'vet' every pupil to make sure they either are or can be brainwashed by their bigotted antics? Dreadful. I would NEVER send my children or recommend anyone else send theirs to this school. They've lost the plot altogether when they force their opinions on others."
