"Brilliant school .The boys are welll respectful and well disapling The Teacher are friendly and take interests in making the boys do great in there Education"
"Brilliant school. I love the way the boys are disciplined in various aspects. Parent teacher communication is excellent. My son had the opportunity to move school purely because of the travel distance but he refused to leave and he intends to stay for 6th form education. The school is Outstanding."
"I went to this school from 1975-82. It contributed to my successes in later life (university degree, PhD, and am now an environmental consultant in Ontario, Canada). I still have work habits that were ingrained into me by my teachers back then. Life is what you make of it - St Thomas' helped me along the way."
"This school was the worst School in Southwark during the 2000s. As a student, i was constantly bullied by both pupils and teachers. Teachers had no hope in me and i was blacklisted by my whole year. This school was more trash than it is (my year passed with 33% GCSE's inc English and Maths) Now that the school is indeed 'successful', i believe it is successful for all the wrong reasons. As someone who is now successful and works in Education, the school going through an outdated route of unruly strictness and Autocratic leadership does not help pupils achieve their goals. The teachers can keep boasting about 'being top in southwark' or whatever but it seems they are only interested in being in the top rather than helping pupils achieve their goals from i've read. It's time the school rethink its strategy and start thinking about looking back at the old days how it was (minus the bad behaviour). Not this new nonsense of harsh discipline that is soooo 2006."
"Both my sons go to this school I have heard a lot of bad stories and have had a few conversations with some teachers. One of my sons needs extra help so I am looking to see how his needs will be met quite OK with what the governors and teachers are trying to do . I hope they succeed both the school and the community of parents need to help its not a one way street."
