"Wow, Mr. Gordon has been teaching here for like 50+ years? I never knew that!!! He's an extremely strict teacher, but an amazing and funny one he is. I've heard that he recently left, which is very unfortunate (2018 I believe). Never knew the school was here even before the 50's, it really is fascinating, all those students are now around 60. Mr. Gordons students are probably like 40/50 right now... I've had great experiences here, it'll stay with me till my death, there are amazing teachers like Ms. Catheline, Pat (heard Pat studied here in the 50's, and then became a teacher here, 80's-2015? Tom, Jennifer, Joseph, Holly, Beth, Leisel, Carol, Veronica, etc. I miss this school so much. I'm currently nearing year 10. Thank you so much Lancasterian for an amazing childhood. I'll surely visit when I can. During my stay there 3 headteachers, one being Jane, I believe she worked there for 22 years. It's insane how quickly time pass' by... I remember whenever I got into trouble, I would be sent to Mr. Gordon's class. He always laughed when he saw me, then just changed his face to a serious one, all the time. He would give me a TINY pencil, a paper with the 1-12x table, make me write it all down on a blank paper, and then when it was the end of class, he would rip the paper in front of me, talk to me a bit and let me go. We always used to play football for 2 hours around the end of the day for the whole of Year 6, it was amazing. I occasionally used to scare Ms. Catheline, I always used to enjoy it. These are just a few out of a thousand memories. I really miss my primary friends. I'm only in contact with 5 right now. Good times. I'll try to update more as life goes on."
"I remember first attending this school in 2010 had a bad experience but had great friends and brilliant teachers I am now in year 7 and I want to thank the school for giving me the support and help through my child hood"
"I went to this school in the early 70's :) as did my brothers, Paul & Ray Taylor :) - great memories of this place - Mr Gordon, the scariest teacher but he got great results - separate playgrounds and going on the field in the Summer :) - the sweet shop across the road - and when it was your birthday you and anyone else with a birthday that week, got to stand at the front of the assembly holding this round wooden circle thing with candles burning while everyone sang happy birthday - health and safety eat your heart out"
"I used to go to this school and I know it is filled with friendly and diligent staff and pupils. This school gives you so many opportunities for an early success so I think every child should go to this school"
"I attended this school back in the 1950's. It was an excellent school then and to have lasted this long I believe it must still be an excellent school. I was taught then by a Mr Hewitt who instilled into me the importance of learning my times tables and of being able to do sums in my head without the use of anything but my brain! I remember him also teaching our class what the term "Shanksy's Pony" meant! I've still got my yearly exam reports so this school has lived with me for many a year. I am now in my late 60's, living in Lancashire and will try to go back to school the next time I am in London. Thank you Lancasterian School for loads of great memories."
