Reviews
"The school is fine. I am honestly not complaining. But there could be loads more improvements. The playground is old and rusty. There is barely any new equipment. My child doesn’t want to go to school because he describes it as a ‘dull and old place’. Also the teachers are not very nice. My child told me that he got a warning for picking up a pencil. Teachers don’t let their students go to the rest room because its a ‘waste of learning’. The school is more drawn into how the pupils look and their uniform quality than their work and mental health. My son came back from school exhausted. I am extremely concerned about how the students learn as they come out of school very unhappy. I have seen loads of children crying after school while walking home. The uniform is very pleasing as the tie does not match the navy blue cardigans/jumpers. Nevertheless, the school lunches are poorly. My son threw up twice after the jacket potatoes. Overall, i have been to this school myself. Its not that bad. I recommend though it needs to be improved. Thanks."
"I was going on a school trip and I was on the tram platform. All of a sudden a child from Benedict pushed me. Lucky my teacher catched me or I wouldve fallen down onto the train tracks. I'm very appalled that the staff looked in my direction and saw me but didn't say anything."
"I was a pupil there from year 1 in 2013 and they have not changed. They force you to eat everything if not you don’t go outside. Food tastes bad. Children are kind themselves and also some teachers are nice. I don’t recommend this primary school but its your choice."
"Both myself and brother attended this school. My son also went to Benedict. The school is very well run and pupils are happy and keen to learn. It has a gifted programme for gifted children. The staff are supportive and helpful and security of the children is good."
"We have just had our daughter transfered here. Very impressed with the transfer support and with the fact that the headteacher knows all the children in the school."
