"Some of the "reviews" on this school seem to be written by people who have no experience of it, or are written by people who have an axe to grind for various reasons. My experience is our son has been attending the school in year 7 and has so far completed two terms. Previously he was at Hampton Prep for his primary school years. My wife and I picked the school after attending a couple of open days and speaking with the teachers, who we found to be highly motivated and enthusiastic. Now we have two terms experience I think we can start to form some conclusions. The first is that our initial impression about the quality of the teachers has proved correct. Our son really enjoys school and has found new motivation to work hard to try and achieve his potential. We have also found the teachers to be accessible, constructive and helpful. One point to note is that a new headmaster has recently taken over at the school. He has a good level of experience having been a headmaster previously for a number of years. I hope (and expect) that the foundations laid by his predecessor will be continued, in particular with the method of recruiting talented teaching professionals. My suggestion would be if you are considering sending your child to Radnor House is to go along to an open day, ask challenging questions, and judge for yourself. The school is definitely worth including in your short list, and my wife and I are very pleased we chose it for our eldest son."
