"Literally the worst school in the entire world. When children are even 1 second late they are served a 5 hour detention. They aren't allowed to use phones either. They have to cook and clean for the teachers. The worst part is that they can't talk at all without the teachers' permission. Don't listen to all of the 5 star reviews because it is either a member of staff or a friend of a worker. This is a legit prison. Do not send your child to this school."
"i’ve seen multiple videos about this school all over social media. Whatever you do, don’t listen to the 5 star reviews because they are either teachers, other staff or visitors. The punishments they give for such small things is illegal(i think, i’m not in england). If you want to/are considering sending your kid/kids here, cps should be called on you."
"I feel very sorry for the poor children, because even though they go to the best institutions in general in all of England, it’s not very possible to study in a regular school, otherwise they are forbidden to talk at recess"
"Teachers don’t care about bullying and ALL teachers are on a power trip constantly. Let kids have fun. I know of an ex student at your school who said they was suicidal whilst there"
"My daughter suffered from depression and anxiety during her time at Michaela. I was bombarded with calls from her teacher over minor silly things the school could deal with themselves. She did not get to choose her GCSE’s, there’s no ICT taught, my daughter did pe 10 times all together from year 7-11 which is a disgrace. However she did pass all her GCSE’s, did not fail not one. My daughter went to a terrible primary school and was lazy lacked motivation but Michaela school pushed her to do better. But the whole experience was a lot of stress on the child and parent. Not sure if it was worth it in the end time will tell. Please note parents if you do not pay your child’s school lunches on time, your child will be segregated and given a cheese sandwich and water in another room. I made sure this didn’t happen to my child ever but found the thought stressful."
