"Incredible staff - very experienced and nurturing - they really get to know each of the children and find ways to help them develop individually. My daughter has come on so far since joining (she's even learning Spanish!). An ideal transition to school as it feels more grown up than a nursery. Can't rate it highly enough."
"The Children’s workshop has been fantastic for my little one this last academic year. The staff are so thoughtful and caring and they’ve achieved the unimaginable - my child willingly went into nursery each day and had a lovely time there. When she first began she hadn’t been away from me for much time at all and the separation anxiety was very real. The staff were so accommodating, treating my child as an individual and caring for their specific needs. I’m so very grateful to my little ones’ amazing key worker and all of the staff around her. I can’t recommend The Childrens Workshop highly enough!"
"Our son has been at this nursery for the last two years and he has loved it. The staff are all fantastic and most of them have been there for years. The children are so happy here, they take part in a wide range of activities and come home with some fabulous creations!! As parents we have always been confident that our son has been very well looked after and we highly recommend this nursery."
"Both my children went to the Children’s workshop and had a wonderful time. They have a fantastic mixture of staff that provide brilliant learning opportunities for the children but also staff that love the children and are happy to take a quiet moment with them to read or have a hug. I really feel like the warm team get to know your child and meet them at the stage they are at. They get to grow at their pace in a loving, warm environment. The blue group is in a big hall and for the younger children. They get opportunities to dress up, learn life skills like putting on your own coat and trying new things like sushi making. The red group is a wonderful opportunity for preschoolers, with a mixture of rooms and spaces. They have a quiet room for individual learning or a calm space if needed in the moment, an art room which is incredible fun, a main activity hall with fun role play, learning, music, etc and an outdoor space with building, water play, instruments, etc. One of my children had a mixture of health needs and allergies. I always felt confident leaving him in their safe hands. He was included in baking and snacks but made safe for his requirement. When his health needs got more complicated, not only did his key worker get across his needs but the room leader, manager and everyone else. My children are now at school but both miss coming to the workshop. They miss the eggs they got to see hatch into chickens, the opportunity to do crafts, the warm hugs and chances to learn through play. Most importantly they miss the brilliant staff. If we bump into them they still run up to them for hugs (my daughter is 10 and son in reception)."
