"My wife from Thailand and I had a good experience with them and recommended them"
"Jasmine was so helpful and got my visa sorted in record time! Would highly recommend for anyone who has need of an immigration solicitor."
"DONT BELIVE THIS POSITIVE REVIEWS,I don't know if they are clients based on EMLC staff behaviour This fake organisation is a totally scam and lose of time, despite they are paid by Scottish government to help people Is more than one month that I give 25 times my details to them and with no answer every time that you call them, they act that they don't know asking you your details all over again They even speak over to you, like they are the victims, trying to avoid the subject, and when you try to speak, they will tell you ,,calm down,, They victimised themselves because they don't want cases, they want only to br paid by the government, at the end of the month present them a fee easy cases and take money but the government doesn't know what is behind those doors For example our case is direct discrimination and 25 lawyers and Scottish government and citizen advice told us so But for a solicitor(if he is) name DRWN(or something)is not even discrimination, not only that only him speak over the phone like he was the one to call me,and he didn't even care when I've told him that I will complain about his attitude though the Scottish government website Normally they don't care,if they create their own laws here Scottish government pay them to do their job,but in reality they present only a few cases to them to take money out The other cases which is ,,hard,,for them they don't want to take when in reality they are forced too This is EMLC ,is a lose of time and is a organisation that didn't fear any laws in scotland are all hand in hand between them I didn't forced them to take our case but our case is for them, but this lawyer refuse us,finding microscopical reasons AVOID THIS ORGANISATION"
"I called to make a first appointment and was told if I had not heard back after 5 weeks to phone back. After 5 weeks I called and was told our issue might not be seen as a priority as we had given ourselves plenty of time to resolve any issues. However, I received a call two days later to confirm a first meeting for the next Tuesday. I was also told I would receive a confirmation letter. When arriving at the building on the Tuesday I had yet to receive a letter confirming my date and the gentlemen in the office had to note of my appointment. The office staff could only allocate my file through use of my phone number as they had no record of my name. After staff discussing between themselves, I was informed I had the wrong date and the meeting was for Wednesday. I was 100% sure the date was Tuesday as one of us had to change a shift at work in order to attend this meeting. I was offered the next day but declined. I didn’t feel confident that an organisation who could not organise their mail or calendar would be responsible enough to handle an immigration issue. Three weeks have past and a letter of confirmation has never arrived at my address. The meeting would have cost £75, thankfully I found the same price with a law firm who could manage their diary."
"I notice the three other reviews are not good. This is not my experience. Andrew the solicitor who dealt my wife's application was diligent, helpful and understanding. Andrew's advice was clear, accurate and concise and we knew exactly what was required from us and the likely timetable."
