"Visited Matalan Filton last weekend. When I arrived at the counter with my purchases, I found 2 members of staff having private conversation. Though I was the only customer at the time, I was told to use self service. Unfortunately I had to call staff member back twice. As firstly my barcode wasn't accepted then as I tried to leave the alarms were triggered, so had to ask to have security tags removed. I understand at busy times the self services are practical. But as the staff had time it would have been much quicker and less stressful to have been served by a staff member."
