"Terribly customer service. I recently purchased a small amount of Kilin Dried sand the service was excellent and the staff very friendly. I had the sand stored in my van for three days, when I went to apply the sand after pressure washing a customer driveway I discovered it was damp. You don't need to be a master builder to understand the importance of dry sand - hence the name Kilin Dried. I had to stop the job drive eight miles back to Paisley to request an exchange. The customer service representative wasn't helpful at all, in fact very defensive stating the sand was stored inside and couldn't possibly be damp. When I insisted on an exchange he instructed a staff member to bring the replacement sand to my vehicle. The guy reluctantly brought the remaining bags from a pallet on his fork lift truck, every bag was damp I highlighted this to him, total negative response and more or less told me to take it or leave it. I will now source my materials elsewhere."

"I don't typically describe my experience at a place when reviewing but I think it's important on this occasion. I arrived at the yard and asked one of the guys where was the best place to park for picking up plywood. He told me the shop was closing for Christmas in 5mins but to try my luck inside anyway. I was told at the counter that I had just missed my chance as the cutting machine had been turned off and everybody was packed up ready to leave. But the lad still said he would go and look for off-cuts after taking a note of the sizes I needed. He returned to tell me there was nothing suitable but that the lad doing the cutting had started the machine back up for me. I couldn't thank them enough - unbeknown to them I really needed this sheet of material. I was asked to go to my car and wait. 2mins later the lad was at the back of my car waiting to help me load it in. The guys were now late on getting away for their own preparations for Christmas but they did all this for me even though I was spending less than £20.00!! Amazing service and will be my go-to timber yard when I'm building my extension in the coming year. Best Wishes for the year ahead!"
