"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was victim of a clear case of discrimination at Sainsbury's on Leith walk. I went there this morning and was terribly served by an old lady that did not want to serve me at the checkout. That lady told me to go to the self checkout. I said that I wanted to be served by a person because I do not get paid for being a cashier. She answer mocking at me: you see this barcode?? Scan it here and then pay. I do not have to be served or spoken to like that. I have rights and she also said that the checkouts are for old people o someone who wants tobacco. I wanted to speak to the manager and while I waited I saw her serving young people that did not buy tobacco as well as 2 other cashiers. One sales assistant came to me and I asked again for the manager, he left and one woman came and brought me a blank piece of paper when I asked for a formal complain form. She said the manager was off and did not have a formal complain form. If I used that blank piece of paper she would have probably bin it as soon as I left the shop. I deserve the same treatment as everyone else and I will complain every time I see something unfair like this. I feel disappointed and disgusted for this situation I had to deal with and I will tell everyone how people are served in that shop. You talk about inclusion, rights for foreigners or other minorities and that is not true. Minorities are treated with disrespect there very quickly. I give you one star but I would like to give 0 stars for people that bully customers. No wonder Lidl have more customers or even Iceland are taking your customers as well. Kind regards."
"Big enough, you will get everything food item there, verity of chocolates are available."
"Expensive cheaper options outthere eg scotmid tesco and asda if you do go keep hold of the trolley at the tills or when you turn to put your shopping bags in it it will be gone I caught a member of staff taking the trolley I was using and when I said I was not finished with it she be came hostile I've been back to this store and must say they have got better or so I thought I was in today 10/8/22 and the security guard set of my social anxiety by coming up behind me and when I told him I could have lashed out he denied it even though a sainsbury employee was sanding there she didn't even apologise on the store's behalf I think the need send their saff and security on disability awareness training"
"The store obviously provides for single people, but the black security guard is anything but subtle, when I walk past and he's outside having a ciggy, eyes popping out and coming across totally like a creep! Although being on my doorstep, that's why I choose not to shop there!"
"really great staff, clean, good selection of product."
