Reviews
"If you are looking for a quiet area to walk your dog or just to admire nature, look somewhere else. There are more people than trees in this woods. The area that you can safely walk through is tiny, there are plenty invasive or non native species of plants, and a large portion of those woods is a private woodland shoot. There is nowhere to park."
"Beautiful, wild woodlands"
"Beautiful place, can be a little risky when you leave the trails with some bogs and muddy traps along the outskirts. Overall it's quite enchanting."
"The National Trust's Burton Wood is a lovely environment to visit. The Woodpecker created the most noise, followed by lots of bird songs. Primroses and snowdrops out, when we visited, and bluebells well on their way to flowering. An ideal place for everyone to explore."
"The drive up has narrow roads and has limited parking, possible best to park in the village and walk up. The woods itself is great, very water logged on this day so bring your wellies. Great for dogs too."
