"Saddened by such a negative experience in their customer care. Had my car in for a quote for bodywork repairs. After a look over and assurance about being able to get it fixed in a few weeks-to-couple months... I get an email from the guy with the quote (semi reasonable) and asked to check with reception which is good to book in. "We're not taking any bookings until October." This was in April. They are still not taking bookings, seemingly just from me as I've had a couple friends have work done by them that wasn't insurance-based. Absolutely perplexed."

They’ve had my car for 8 weeks and despite multiple emails and phone calls, nobody has any idea what’s happening with it and no idea when it’ll be ready. Multiple promises that it’s almost finished have fallen through, the first of which was 4 weeks ago. At this stage I’m considering calling the police to report a stolen vehicle. Avoid like the plague if you ever want to see your car again."

"Thank you Jaffa, Danny and the team at the Paintworks Bodyshop. I put my black rusty and tired workhorse 2007 VW Golf GTI into the Paintworks Bodyshop and I am over the moon with the results. The green might not be everyone's cup of tea but I love it and the quality of work carried out is incredible. Before going with Paintworks Bodyshop I took a drive in to speak to the guys. I met Danny, we spoke about the job, discussed options, prices and the finished result. I was a little sceptical and worried as it was going to be quite a large investment into a car I was debating trying to sell for buttons. Danny assured me that the car would be in showroom condition when he was finished with it. He showed me previous work he had carried out and projects that he had done. I was impressed with the level of work that went into each car and how they resolve many issues I thought other garages would skip. Danny then took me a quick tour of the workshop showing me active projects. I am an engineer by trade and could see the work was being carried out the way I'd have liked to do it given the correct circumstances. We agreed a game plan, a price (very reasonable) for a full respray, wings, alloys done etc, dates and that was that. I dropped my car in and 6 weeks later got back what felt like a brand new car. It was polished, valeted and ready to rock. Danny even arranged for my new tyres to be fitted. Jaffa and the team on reception were brand new, they kept me in the loop and were a pleasure to deal with. I couldn't recommend the Paintworks Bodyshop highly enough. Thanks again Guys"

"Had a bit of an accident and managed to heavily dent the bumper and some of the metalwork in my car. Had asked around at a couple of places and they were all saying that the work was too expensive and the car was probably a write-off. Danny gave me a quote costing less than 30% of what I'd been offered elsewhere and so I decided to go with paintworks. Have just got the car back today and am incredibly impressed with the job they've done. The whole team went the extra mile to help keep the price down and the car looks exactly as it did before the bump. Am very grateful for everything the team has done for me."

I gave them a job requiring strong paint blending skills on a moderate value car. I've first hand experience of doing this work myself so am more demanding than most customers.
