"Lovely beach for walking and chillin."
"What an unusual stop!! I've been to Liverpool before but never this side of the mersey and it was a treat, the beach was long and good for a walk, the black pearl itself was an unusual find and the view of city centre was immense! I definitely suggest the walk if you are around Liverpool!"
"Good beach but loads of jelly fish. The Black Pearl was disintegrated, only a few pieces of wood around. But defiantly worth a visit as the light house isn't to far from it. Kids loved it..."
"A novelty play area for kids (and big kids!). Made from smooth-edged driftwood and built to look like a beached pirate ship, this is a great place to bring the kids. It's on a lovely sandy little enclave on the edge of the Mersey estuary amd is very popular for families, with plenty else to do nearby. I docked it a star because last time we went, the ship's wheel turned but this time it was bolted tight."
"Lovely little attraction on a nice walk. The sand is nice and soft too. Just be careful if your kids are a little unsteady on their feet because the step to get on is just a round log and is slippery even when dry. There is also a nice fairy garden a further 10 minutes down the path that has lots of models of houses made of twigs etc. And then fairys! Was a nice family walk out with friends in great weather."
