"Beautiful gardens reflecting the rich history of area."
"This garden behind the waterfront in Waterloo is a nice little oasis. Whilst the beach and grass next to the beach can get pretty busy when the temperature goes up, the well maintained lawn and gardens have a special peaceful quality to them. It is a great location to catch up on some reading in the calm of the seafront atmosphere without having to go too near to the beach. There is free parking on the street behind, however remember that this is a residential area and consider using public transport of self transport to reach this spot. The area is well served by local busses on South Road and by Waterloo Railway Station on the same road, less than five minutes away. Edit It looks like the local authority have stopped mowing the grass here which makes the space even more special. There is much more wildlife around now."

"Superb area for natural beauty- beach, dunes, coastal path, parks and gardens galore. Handily situated ice cream van, toilets available near the RNLI(40p) and easy access to shops/ cafes on the high street just a short walk away"
