"Great park in the shadow of the wall and the water tower. Good for kids and picnics"
"Chester City a very historical place to visit , a very enjoyable place to visit and many bars and restaurants to eat out."
"Walk through here with our dog . Nice children's play area for both older children and an area for younger ones. 2 bowling greens. Good view of the water tower and easy access onto the city walls."
"Small gardens located adjacent and below the north western section of the city walls. Worth the brief detour from the walls (there is direct access from the walls down stairs) for the up close view of the Water Tower."
"Spotted these gardens from the city walls and made a detour here. You have to descend a lot of steps if you enter from the walls but there are wheelchair accessible entrances. The two towers and the walls give these gardens their character and I got a really good close-up view of the historic Water Tower. There are wooded paths, grassy picnic spots, recreational facilities including tennis and a bowling green, a children's playground with ropes and wooden climbing apparatus and an enclosed play area for small kids. Plenty of seating but did not see any toilets."
