"Great coffee and pastries and super friendly staff. My favourite in Bearsden"
"Amazing locally sourced coffee and friendly service. Will definitely be back :)"
"We moved from Finnieston to Bearsden in the summer of 2021. Having had easy access to loads of great coffee shops and bakeries in the city and West End, we were hopeful that we'd find something similar in Bearsden or Milngavie, and No. 40 by the Alba Collective is most definitely that! The coffee is delicious, the cakes are great, and I think some of the pastries I've tried have been among the best I've had. We went in last weekend to get a few almond croissants, but as a result of them being sold out, we got the apricot bostock instead - it was incredible, and I am now officially a convert to these! A special mention for the focaccia they sell, too, as this is very tasty. All in all, a really great shop, with lots of interesting stuff - I still have a lot left to sample! It's brilliant to have a place like this in Bearsden and I really hope it continues to thrive."
"Great wee cafe offering wide selection of baked goods and coffees. Staff were very welcoming and made the whole experience enjoyable. Iced coffee and raspberry cake both lovely, will definitely be going back"
"First visit this morning. Fantastic to have such a great offering on our doorstep. Bought a selection of pastries, some granola, marmalade and a loaf sourced from the excellent Freedom Bakery. Everything tried so far has been delicious. Nice chat about the provenance of the products I was buying too. Will be back soon to sample the coffee!"
