"Sadly this great cafe seems to have gone right down hill since it’s been taken over. The food quality is not as good. I had my usual roll and scrambled egg with potatoes scone. The egg was microwaved and put in the roll in one lump, the potato scone was soggy and greasy and under cooked. I ask for sauce but never got any. I ordered my usual soup, it was only filled to 3/4 of the tub and the bread wasn’t the nice crusty bread like before it was just a slice of white loaf. It’s a shame as the food and the quality of the produce before was excellent. Hopefully it’s just teething issues and it improves."
"The new ownership is a large improvement. The ice-cream tastes better now and the service is great. The hygiene has had a step up and they finally got a card reader. Overall, I think it’s a good cafe and it’s finally an enjoyable experience."

"Absolutely spotless clean and very nice cafe, highly family centric and very popular with families with children, I visited this cafe on Thursday and the staff are second to none,the food and drinks are very nice and well presented and the premises are very very clean and well looked after. Helpful and friendly staff and the selection of soft drinks,teas and coffees are good. Highly recommend this cafe, even if you're driving around within 10 miles and looking for somewhere,if you can get parking nearby it's definitely worth a visit even by car. I will come back here at any opportunity. 10/10"
"A corner hideaway on Stonelaw Rd Burnside.Good quality plate meals or just coffee snacks and cakes as you prefer. Covid regulations are well observed with seat partitioning. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Well worth a visit."
