"This is a really great park. Lots and lots of grass, a nice play area for kids with a lot of shading and a skate park. It's well maintained. The only downside is the teenagers who tend to hang around on the play area but that's the same with most parks."
"Great Park and every Wednesday 12pm until 3pm there is a Wheels for All inclusive cycling in the park near to Esposito's and the band stand."
"Great park with almost everything you could ask for. Lake with birds & a fountain, Skate Park, Playgrounds, Splash Pad, Climbing Boulder, Tennis Courts, Bowling Greens, Cafe, Bandstand & usually a Butterfly house (though that’s closed at the moment I think) Only thing I can mark it down on is the parking. There is no car park so you have to try & find a spot on the surrounding streets which sometimes can be difficult."
"Park that has everything. Great water play area for kids, superb cafe near the band stand and an ice-cream and coffee shop at the top end of the park. Skate park with decent ramps for the kids, boulders for climbing, tennis courts, fenced 5 a side pitch, bowling greens, loads of green space, nature trail for walking, big lake with swans and other wildlife, butterfly house and public toilets. Always well maintained and clean. Well worth a visit."
