"I cracked my tooth & unhappy with my current dentist, decided to register with Family Dental in Prestonpans. They gave me an appointment for the same day, registered me and fixed my tooth. My X-rays however revealed a broken wisdom tooth with an extraction the only sensible option to avoid any future problems. My dentist explained the X-ray so well, I could see that I had to get this done. Petrified and reluctant I was not looking forward to this at all and spent the 3 weeks leading up to the appointment reading dental blogs online and stressing myself out. Today was the day of the scheduled extraction and I cannot praise my dentist enough, he was excellent - kind, considerate and clearly able. The tooth was out within minutes. Dental work is awful but the right dentist can make such a difference!"

On arrival the waiting area was spacious, bright and seating comfortable, the staff were all very friendly and the facilities more like a hospital than a dental practice, The dentist assigned to me was very welcoming and carried out my examination quickly and efficiently.
