Reviews
"Business hours state 12-10pm on A Thursday. Turned up at 9.55pm not looking for anything fancy, a pita or some chips. Immediately met with Sorry we’re shut. Fantastic. Went to chippy got a supper and met with a friendly face. Don’t worry will make sure local Greeks are aware of the warm welcome :)"
"Good, but can be better. Halloumi fries were decent but the gyro needs improvement. This shop can be considered a pricier and fancier but not necessarily tastier version of Mactassos in Kelvingrove Park. The staff is friendly and there's seating for around 12 indoors and 6 outdoors."
"I would just walk down to Kelvin way and get a pita gyros from MacTassos. Better in every way! Cheaper, bigger and tastier. I honestly do not like giving bad reviews but this place just made me mad. Unecessary packaging, small portion size, average food quality and over 7 pounds for a small pita gyros? Also this notion that every greek restaurant needs to use this tacky font and blue and white coloring with the houses from Santorini everywhere needs to stop! That being said i did like the tiles. But yeah avoid."
"The chicken gyros was excellent and the halloumi chips, delicious! The place is small but there are a few stools for sitting in. Ideal for takeaway if you live nearby, they provide the gyros in very apt boxes to keep the wrap in perfect shape! Friendly staff. Great addition to Byres Road from the team behind Halloumi."
"Lovely food - a little pricier relative to portion size but this is the west end after all, and food was in fairness delicious. The aesthetic of the restaurant is great - particularly loved the Greek flag (pictured) and floor tiling! Packaging (also pictured) is stylish but perhaps a little wasteful. Overall a great spot missing on Byres road for some time, delicious food and great vibe - check it out!"
