"Went here with my son who was looking for a door and backboards for his newly installed kitchen. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and he was able to get products he really likes. Would recommend this company."
"A lot of time wasted. 3 customers in the store, two employees one of whom was privately chatting with the customer looking at photos on their phone. Another served a customer who was behind me. Then finally l was approached and l was told that a designer would be with me shortly after 5 or so minutes the male employee approached me he asked if l had a joiner l said yes and gave him the name at which point l was told that the joiner has to be assigned to a specific Howdens branch and this had to be ascertained first before l could proceed and purchase a kitchen. A lot of time wasted really. It didnt fill me with confidence in Howdens, the staff and the product."
"Initially disappointed with first visit as we had no assistance at that time but once we established contact with our planner we were more than happy! I have altered my rating accordingly, I'm more annoyed at the whole what to do to stay safe carry on linked to covid..... I know it's not a reflection on your place but more how we felt during our initial first visit when we were left to look around with no assistance"

"We invested a lot of time with Howdens getting our kitchen measured, coming into the depot to choose kitchen worktops etc. The experience to this point was good and i was told i'd get a price a few days later and i could then organise our joiner to fit it. I never ever received a call back with a price and called in several times however the person we were dealing with would never take nor return the call. I ended up calling in to speak with the Manager to raise a complaint. She was highly defensive but said she'd look into it and call me back that day with a price - but never did and never took my calls again. A complete waste of time and an unprofessional company. In comparison we went to a competitor and got measured and a price very quickly."
