"Visited for a relative's birthday, table of 9. We ordered a variety of meals, all with glowing reviews. The steak was cooked perfectly for me and the accompanying sides left little room for dessert. Although, the Ice cream was too tempting and a sample confirmed it tasted as good as it looked. Service a little slow but they were busy that evening which is understandable, all members of staff I saw or spoke to were polite and helpful. For the food we received our bill was more than acceptable and good value for money. Will definitely be visiting again."

"Food was disgusting. Waited 1hr for food. Ordered a Christmas Dinner, tiny bit of very thick lumpy gravy. Turkey was like rubber. Sausages tasted like an oven. Mash was really runny. Won't be coming back again"
"The food was above average, however attention to steaks "rare-medium" etc needs improvement, if a rare steak is ordered, a rare steak is expected, not a medium well-done. By the time the meals came out, not with the requirements of no tomato (came with) on the burger, some meals were finished, not particularly busy, but nonetheless the order should be right and roughly on time with the other orders. My food was good, and the steaks albeit not cooked to requirements asked, ditto burger, were all excellent and do deserve mentioning that food is good, let down by not following what we'd asked for. For the price we paid, it really wasn't worth kicking up a fuss and sending food back, because the food was cheap, decent and all were happy afterwards. The kids dictate that "we will be back"."
"Really disappointed with our visit this week. Was really excited to see the new menu as we havent visited for over 12 months. Partners food arrived and the order was wrong and the chicken was inedible being so hard, kids pasta was cold but just a bit of tomato sauce over the top, kids pizza was clearly a Chicago town one heated up. Burger was sloppy, I left half of my plate. I normally really rate the new Inn as its great value for money, but this time was left feeling disappointed. Only positive is, the staff are friendly."
