"Attended a poetry evening and book launch. Food was excellent! We chose from the Bar Menu, excellent prices, very tasty fajitas and chicken goujons. I would highly recommend visiting here. We intend to go one Sunday when there is live music between 2-5pm. Parking was available nearby"
"Avant Garde is a superior music and food venue In king st. Merchant city Glasgow.There are some interesting greek delicacies on offer alongside classic Pub favourites.A very friendly staff will direct you on a choice of craft beers and huge range of other drinks Saturday is a very busy day starting with early afternoon jazz and old time dancing going right through the evening ending with a traditional Scottish Ceilidh. Yesterday, i was privileged to sample the latest addition to the extensive menu, The Burrito Basket. A crispy flour Tortilla deep filled with Chilli, rice Guacamole, sour cream etc. Really delicious. Weekday blues and rock jams are regularly held. This is a wonderfully spacious but comfortable venue for all age groups."
