"Came in for a few drinks whilst we waited to be collected by the restaurant next door. To cut it short the restaurant never came, which left me and my partner in the ****. Asked the owner of spice if we could grab a table and some food at 10:00pm, half expecting to be knocked back as it was quite late, they happily took us in and sorted us out! What an experience, the staff in spice are fantastic, knowledgeable about products and made excellent recommendations about the food. Lovely family business, made me feel at home. The food was great, well cooked and not too spicy, it was excellent. Highly recommend this place, great vibe, great food, great service and saved our date night, i will be back! Support your locals!"

"The food is not bad. The staff is very unmindful. We had to wait for our food for ages, even though there was no rush in the restaurant. We wanted to get some food parcels. Upon checking the parcel later we realised they only packed half the order, though they billed us for the whole order. Also, they packed two separate items (2 gravies) together in the same container. Such unprofessional behaviour is not acceptable."

"Amazing food great service. Was there with friends for a birthday. Staff were so helpful and obliging. Food was delicious only complaint so much I could not eat it all but so enjoyed what I did eat."

"Been coming here for many years. Although I don't know their names the owners are lovely people and food always spot on. We know each others faces and can chat away. On our recent visit the the food including the sauce, was far too salty. No owners were about so it was pointless complaining. The first time this happened we ate the starter but couldn't eat mains and sauce. The owner did not charge for what we ate and drank. I don't know if anyone else has complained about salt. I am really sad to say we won't be back. Restaurant not been same since Nicola left. Good Luck !"
