"The green space is lovely but disappointed that all the double yellow lines have appeared since our last visit. this makes parking a problem. The grass is a lovely place for a picnick but now it's not as convenient if you have to carry everything for miles."
"Large open space. Beautiful all year round. Large dog friendly ,playground and picnic area in one."
"I love the idea of having a large green area in the middle of town. Had a nice walk there and definitely will be back in the summer. Love the cherry blossoms. Clean, everyone will have a space for their activity."
"Went on the Easter weekend, it’s so pretty!! Some of the cherry blossoms haven’t bloomed yet, would be perfect in a week time I think :)"
"A lovely, large green area, right in the middle of Harrogate. The grass can be a bit wet in places, especially after rain but it has recovered well from the damage done during the World road cycling championship three years ago. Its a nice place for a picnic, or there are several restaurants, cafes and bars on West Park and Montpellier with good views onto The Stray. The crocuses are gorgeous in spring and the Christmas lights cheerful in the winter."
