"A nice park, some great play things for the kids. The play park is in need of some repair with wooden poles for the kids to climb on rotten, to a point they move around. The zip wire is great fun, though!! The rest of the park is good, but the cafe only has 2 stars for hygiene."
"This is a really lovely park. It has everything you need and is a really enjoyable, attractive, safe space.. It is a really big park and has 3 (I think) entrances/exits, all into the same space. It's been designed really well so that some of the open space has been split off with tall trees. There's loads of open grass for playing or picknicking and some goals have been placed in one area, for football. There's a more dense forest area. There's a lovely smaller square lawn area that is surrounded by really tall trees. There's a walkway through the middle that is covered in hanging foliage and flowers in the spring/summer. There are smaller, more private green areas split off, with benches. There's a small pond. There's a tennis/basketball court at one entrance. There's a playground at the other end with loads of equipment and a zip wire! There are 2 really well looked after bowling lawns and a clubhouse. There are toilets and a small cafe with a big noticeboard of events. Wednesday mornings (I think the 3rd of each month) is doggie Wednesday. There is a defibrillator on site. The park has won awards and there's no doubt it is loved and looked after. The beds are all planted really nicely. Thank you to all of the volunteers who maintain this beautiful space."

"Love this park. Best Park in York. The play park has a big choice of apparatus for all ages including a zip wire! The woodland walks and benches are all stunning it's like stepping into a scene from a tombraider movie ! And the cafe is so reasonable and friendly. The entire park is very well kept too. We've never seen any litter or dog foul in sight and we go about twice a week."
