"Lovely staff. A little small place, where you will definitely get a bargain."
"Stunning bracelet for my little boy! Not flimsy quality like most places try and con you with these days. Very good value for money I’m so pleased thanks"
"Amazing service I would highly recommend Hayley was amazing I took a ring all bent which was fixed in a week and looks amazing"
"Adding my own review because I feel we need to add more details of the events after your response to my partner's review today! We were initially quoted £20 to stretch or £100 to add a piece to my wedding ring and myself and my partner decided we wanted a piece adding to keep the quality and durability of the ring. This was written on the envelope along with the price of £100. I collected my wedding ring yesterday, which was supposed to have had a piece of metal inserted to increase the size. I was charged £100 and when I took the ring away I wondered if it had been stretched. There were signs that it had been stretched, having worked with metal before (casting, jewellery making experience a long time ago). Knowing the weight should have increased if a piece had been added I took the ring back in to be weighed by the sales woman straight away after seeing it in brighter light. I explained then that I'd specifically asked and paid for a piece to be put in and it not to be stretched and asked for the ring weighing to check what work had been done. The ring was weighed but the weighing scales were not presented in front of me which I'd expect if there was nothing to hide. I was told the weight was 4.4g when it was 4.3g before. And the saleswoman explained that "the weight won't go up that much." I thought something was wrong again because I wasn't shown the scales, only told the weight and I thought going up three sizes would mean a little more than 0.1g difference. Surely if someone wants to question a weight - the scales are shown for absolute clarity? No? I must say as well the way I was spoken to was rude and judgemental. Surely the sales staff knew at this point that it had been stretched? That doesn't require experience as a jeweller. And surely both sales staff members know that £100 is not the charge for a ring to be stretched as you mentioned in the response to my partners review this is because it was a different member of staff! Why wasn't the price checked? Why wasn't a jeweller consulted? Or if you claim it's down to a DIFFERENT staff member, why wasn't we passed back onto who we were dealing with initially on quotation? My point is that once that ring was weighed both sales people knew what I'd paid was wrong but didn't offer help or support in getting to the bottom of it. S This is why I decided to take the ring to another local jewellers to be weighed and the weight was 4.30g exactly. The scales were in front of me. 4.3g was the initial weight of the ring (and it was written on the envelope) at the time I left the ring at your shop. So again I returned and this time I demanded to know why the ring was exactly the same weight if a piece of 22 carat gold had been added. I had to show them the picture of the scales from the other shop. This is when I was passed onto a workman. He examined the ring and heated it up to see if there were join lines. No join lines. The workman who dealt with me had manners and respectfully apologised for the upset that had been caused and couldn't do enough to help once it had been passed onto him for clarity. Your two front of house sales staff made out that I had lied. Why wasn't it investigated straight away? I was snubbed by both of them, not once offered reassurance or an apology for the confusion when I was visibly upset. They are supposed to provide a level of customer service! If the envelope had the correct information on maybe it wouldn't have happened. But as a business you allowed that to happen and it isn't good enough. Clearly not enough information is recorded upon quotation. And clearly not enough care or attention is provided with the quote or item once it's left. Not one person thought £100 was a lot of money for a ring to be stretched!? I would never have treated anyone the way I was treated yesterday by your front of house staff. If the customer service had been better and some responsibility was shown, it could have all been sorted without any upset. But the way it was managed screamed dishonesty. I was refunded £80 because I asked, not offered."
"Absolute disgrace, paid £100 to have a piece added to a ring only to find they had stretched it instead. Mistakes happen but to be made to feel we was talking rubbish when we questioned it only to be proved right by one of their workmen. No apology from front of house. The arrogance from them was laughable. Do not touch this place."
