"Didn't even bother turning up. Booked over a month in advance as was in Liverpool for a wedding. Called the day before to check was still booked in - confirmed. On the night, we waited at the agreed location, appreciated it was Sat night and busy so waited for half an hour over the the agreed time before calling, was told the driver was on the way. Called 15mins later and told the driver had another drop off and should* be there in approx. 1hour... Didn't seem apologetic, prior booking irrelevant. Save yourself the hassle and grab an Uber."
"I swear by this taxi company as they've never really messed me around. 90% of the drivers know who I am and we all have a laugh. Recently I've had issues with 'people' and they were calling taxis maliciously. I contacted the owner of the company to explain and apologise for them having their time wasted and the drivers losing money over it. The owner was amazing about it and put into place a security password so that people can't maliciously book taxis. I highly recommend that more people ask for this so that it protects drivers from wasting valuable time and fuel because of people being petty and childish. I think it was a great solution to the problem because it had an immediate effect!"
"Not a good experience. Agreed a price of £40 to take my family including elderly dad back from L18 to the Wirral, first drove off as they said they had the wrong number for me, did come back to be fair but then hiked it up to £55 with no notice because one of the tunnels was closed (we apparently should have looked up any road closures before booking) and they had to do drop off people on the way to the final destination despite the fact that they were all in the same postcode area. Do like the idea of supporting local firms but they don't make it easy."
"DO NOT PRE-BOOK Failed to.arrive for a pre booked taxi that was booked over 24hrs in advance and was told " tough" by the controller. Good job I wasn't going to catch a flight or a train. Won't be using them again. Another reason why Uber is a far superior service."
"Booked a Taxi a month in advance via email. Booking was confirmed by company and was given a quote. Called a week before to double check and the booking was nowhere in the system, luckily they had a slot. Driver on pick up was very unproffesional and spent most of the ride complaining about how little they would make from the job and making comments about their boss. Driver for return journey arrived 30 minutes early (for 1am pick-up) and wasn't even at the location requested and had just put in the postcode. We were at a wedding venue and had to text the driver the full address (which we had already provided) and share our location. 3 very poor interactions for a single job."
