"Unfortunately I am giving no stars. I have bought several houses over the past few years, and can honestly say that this was the worst conveyancing experience I have ever had. Communication is absolutely appalling. I would ask a question about my sale and would be given a response about my purchase. Any transactions took forever to take place. Even at the end, I was told that Woodwards would transfer my deposit and pay the remaining equity into my bank on completion, and was given a completion statement detailing this, when I actually held all of the money in my own bank account and needed to transfer the money over to them - I had to tell them this as they “had looked at the wrong information”. I would not recommend them to anyone."

"I sadly can't give 0... For 7 months Woodward have been so called "handling" my sale of an apartment. All documents have been submitted and approved by the team and during the process I have several times assured they have all documents at hand, so we won't have any hiccups at exchange. In January 2023 we received an email saying all is done and a date was set for exchange to happen, no red flags was raised, or a single question asked. 2 days before I receive an email stating "we have informed the buyers solicitor we cannot handle the case, sorry for any inconvenience". No phone calls, no follow up. I then after 6 days of email and phone call managed to get hold of someone who had a very vague reason for this decision, something that should have been picked up 6 months ago and sorted in 1 day, they will not discuss it further and we have lost the sale! Stay away!!"

"Like others said I'm not one for leaving negative reviews but in this case I have to. Don't like the idea of damaging a business reputation but it needs to change. I've used Woodwards twice for house buying/selling. First time wasn't perfect but we got through it without too many issues. They must have changed hands or something as the second time the communication has been dreadful. Impossible to pin down and made to feel like a nuisance. If we hadn't been in constant contact with our buyer and seller the chain would have collapsed as dates for paperwork etc wouldnt have been met. Even sending emails to the director gets absolutely no response. My wife emailed the director and some staff a month ago with a complaint and we've had tumbleweed since. Not a chance I would ever use woodwards again and I will go out of my way to dissuade others from using. Go somewhere cheaper as it can't be much worse."
