"Went for a SUP class on Sunday. The staff where fantastic and went above and beyond. Instructors Lewis and then Richard I was struggling to stand because of a hip injury the instructors patience and ingenious thoughts got me on to my feet climbing up a chair on the board enabling me to stand and paddle. Brilliant they where so encouraging."
"A very fun aqua park, with wetsuits and life jackets provided. The obstacle course in the lake is well looked after and life guards nearby, giving it a safe feeling. The burgers and hot dogs were great. The only downside is the facilities they are far too small for the volume of people needing to use the changing rooms. And it would be nice if they added some signage for the overflow parking in a field at the rear of the lake."
"Absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 15. We had an age range from 6 all the way to 40 and everybody enjoyed it. Staff are lovely, very polite and helpful. Safety is priority which is nice to see in potentially dangerous activities. I was able to let the young ones roam free knowing they were being closely watched by lifeguards at all times. Was also not too many people in the water at a time. The numbers are managed well. Nothing worse than these type of places over crowding the equipment. None of that here. We had a blast and will definitely be returning. and at £20 a head it’s a blooming bargain."
"Safe, well organised and fun. I went as the 'responsible adult' for two pre teens who had a fantastic time on the play area and, after a quick break, on the water two up in a kayak. The organisation was excellent and all the staff efficient and friendly. It was reassuring to see staff present & patrolling on the lake and play area at all times. The place has a friendly, quirky feel to it with murals and signs in an assortment of colours and styles. Wildfowl from the adjoining wetland reserve swim on the lake and roam about freely on the fringes of the play area which adds to the attraction of the place. One of the two excellent cafés is in a converted double decker bus. Food and drink prices are normal for an attraction such as this = a bit on the high side so, if you can, bring your own food. There are picnic areas and shaded seating just down from the lake play area. The changing areas and toilets were well laid out and better quality than most I've seen. The car park is a little small but with visitors constantly coming and going it was easy to find a space."
"Perfect place for a quick paddleboard or sit-on-top kayak session, if you take your own its around £15 all day or you you can hire either for an hour, the only down side is that you have to book and pay online you can't just turn up and pay."
