"Most incompetent staff & management i ever seen in my life! They told me that my account is blocked and i am basically banned from selling/buying to/from this shop without any logical reason. Never done anything wrong to them in my life! I actualy spent some money in their stupid shop. But Ok. No worries.... Couldn't care less. My problem is how TF they managed to pawn my phone under someone else's name??? This is FRAUD and 100% i will report them to the relevant authorities. They not even apologised for this. Now will see who is smarter..... If you have a compensation for me, pls reply to this email. If not, good luck with that visit from fraud department."
"I had a very strange experience with the staff, here. I took my Nintendo Switch Lite in to do a buy-back. The first person I spoke to, a gentleman who seemed to be in his 50s, was very polite and even used one of their own chargers to charge it up, so that he could properly test it, as the battery had died. I left it to charge up for a while and then came back. The man I next spoke to was a skinny balding man. I apparently didn't have the appropriate ID documents, as he said that I needed a (singular) confirmation of my address which was dated within the last 3 months, so he let me leave it on charge whilst I went to the bak to get a bank statement. I then returned and queued up. As I was getting ready to approach the counter, he began to act very strangely, staring and grinning whilst whispering in the ear of his co-worker. I presented the bank statement to him and asked whether it was good enough. He rudely and loudly said, "Pardon!?" The older gentlemen who had been polite to me looked up, surprised at his colleague's aggression. I was confused as to why he was being so rude, as I had been polite to everyone up to that point. I repeated myself. He then, being equally as rude and aggressive, said, "That's fine for ONE of the proofs of ID," even though he had stated that I was only short one applicable ID. I remained polite and asked him what the other piece of ID would be, and he bluntly and rudely replied, "photographic." No elaboration. [Actually, I didn't require "photographic" ID as the website lists alternatives, which he was apparently too lazy to list.] Despite this, I remained polite and said that I would have to come back, later. Like a moody teenager, he barked back, "Okay." I then asked him for my Nintendo Switch Lite back, which he silently went back and got and gave it to me, not saying another word. He seemed to forget that he wasn't able to keep the Switch Lite if he wasn't giving me any money in return. Very strange man. Seems to have issues. Anyway, this 1-star review is exclusively for the rude man, not the polite man, as I would like it to be noticed and steps taken to ensure that this man is less rude in future."
"My favorite Cash Converter store in Yorkshire All the staff are natural and genuine. Credit to the manager who also works like a horse and acts like a member of staff . . thank you"
"If I could I would give 0 stars the staff are rude look an smell like they have slept in there uniforms for weeks they are rude an the manager is disgusting my husband had a issue over a TV we brought with remote that turned out not to be so we took it back, he wouldn’t help so we were stuck with a universal. Friday I took in a iPhone 12 perfect condition I’ve only had it 2 months the lad went to the manager said something came back an told me they couldn’t take it an next time think when complaining about things. The shop is disgusting an smells I’ve already contacted trading standards with the recording an photos. I’d honestly review your staff they laugh at people an take advantage of the vulnerable"
