"If you're looking for a show that will leave you breathless, the Dirty Dancing musical at Dominion Theatre in London is the perfect choice. From start to finish, this musical extravaganza had me completely entranced. The choreography in particular was simply outstanding. The dancers were all absolutely incredible, moving with such grace and fluidity that it was like watching poetry in motion. Every step was perfectly executed, every lift and spin was flawlessly timed, and the energy and passion on stage was truly electrifying. Of course, the music was also a highlight of the show. From classic hits like "Hungry Eyes" and "Do You Love Me?" to lesser-known gems like "In the Still of the Night," every song was performed with heart and soul. The live band did a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of the original soundtrack, and the singers all had voices that could bring the house down. But what really stood out to me was the chemistry between the lead actors. Their performances were so intense and believable that I found myself completely swept up in their story. The love scenes were romantic and tender, the arguments were heated and emotional, and the final dance was simply stunning. Overall, I would highly recommend the Dirty Dancing musical to anyone looking for a night of pure entertainment. It's a show that's packed with talent, energy, and heart, and it's one that's sure to leave you feeling uplifted and inspired."
"I was here in March to see Dirty Dancing and back in August to see Grease. The shows were great. The theater was clean. The women’s bathroom is always congested at the theater especially in central London. Drinks were moderately priced, and there are bars on multiple levels to ease the wait. You have to realize that the culture of London is different than the USA so even though both of these shows are historical fiction, they do not use segregation in their casting. So in Grease for instance there are all races even though at that time period in the US this would have been unheard of. The talent and diversity that this allows makes this a really beautiful way to make these shows their own setting them apart from the image in your mind of Dirty Dancing or Grease. It was a bit disappointing that we didn’t know about a lead cast change, but Grease was a vibrant show with great energy. The ballads were show stealing. My only complaint was that it was really hot. I would have worn a very light dress had I known how stuffy it would be. After freezing in other theaters I hadn’t expected to be so warm."
"First time to this theatre, and we really enjoyed Grease. Although we had front row, the incline of the stalls looks like all seats would have a great view. We'd definitely be happy to sit further back. The show, very good, nice little medley at the end and allowing pics to be taken during the medley was a nice touch. We'd happily go and watch Grease again, and also return to the theatre for other shows, well laid out and great location."
"Saw The Prince of Egypt in January 2022, great musical. I sat in Stall Z5, pretty small seat & far from stage but still enjoyable. You can find some photo from my Z5 seats. Your view is blocked by balcony but you still see the whole stage alright. Great location, lovely theatre."
