"Extremely disappointed. Walked in to the cinema for a late Sunday evening film. The staff members were all sitting on the payment counter with their shoes on the counter. Anyway, thought I’d look past this, walked in to screen 5 to be met by an awful smell. Walking to our seats I noticed that the majority of the seats were ripped and heavily stained. We paid for premier seats however they were incredibly uncomfortable! The screen was also dirty with remains of popcorn on the floor. The smell of the screen was so bad a lady behind me had to spray some perfume. It was at this point I decided to leave before the film even started. Considering the tickets came to £30 for two people I would expect a lot better. Vue in Watford offer recliner seats in a more modern cinema for less money!"
"I went to watch a film in screen 5 at the Odeon Cinema at Hatfield. The screen was a good size and picture quality great. The sound was very good too and was at a sensible volume. The seats however were uncomfortable and restricting. The bass from the film(s) from the other adjoining cinemas could be clearly heard which was irritating. In conclusion, it’s very expensive for what you get."
"I am so disappointed. As a limitless member I obviously enjoy going to the cinema. But my recent visit to the Odeon in Hatfield was awful. It might help to have staff monitor the screenings and have regular checks to see things are OK. We had people talking loudly all throughout the whole movie and we constantly had sweets being hurled at us from the back seats hitting my sister on the head. The toilets are filthy and blocked and never seem to have any toilet roll in them (I am always advising the staff of this issue) This place needs more TLC and some management skills applied. Let's not let going to the movies become something of the past but encourage it to become a desirable thing to do again. We left the film early to avoid the disruption and rudeness. If this keeps happening I will have to consider cancelling my limitless card"
"I have been here several times in the past year. The small rooms and screens are simply not as good as the large screens of decades ago. I take my own snacks and water. Prices for food and beverages at the cinema are far too high for me. Update: on going to see a further film, two young children were running around the room while the film was being screened. One was also crying. Also, people who booked standard seats moved to Premiere seats. There is no checking or enforcement. Another problem is the lack of letters on the end of too many rows. It can be very difficult to find an allocated seat, especially in the dark."
"Nice cinema, however the premier seats really need to be updated. Went to see ticket to paradise last night with family. The seats were very hard to sit on, though it was premier seats. I have been to the screens with recliner seats before and they are much better and much more confortable. Also, my mum mentioned to the young guy working there that, the hand rails need to be fixed as they are very wobby and this is not safe for healthy and safety/older people who vist. However, the young guy did not say sorry."
