"Fort Roofing and Gutters Woking team were very professional and their work is outstanding. I now have a leak free flat roof. They did the job to a very high standard and the aftercare was amazing."
"The staff can do better! The hotel is doing all it can to match it's 3 star status. It's a very okay hotel......a great customer service will push it to good."
"I want to express how disappointed in how I was treated today by the office staff at this hotel. I am visiting London from abroad and have been so impressed on how kind everyone has been to me. Except for today by the front office man (I didn’t get his name but i will). There is never a need to argue and talk over and down to your customers, especially in hospitality. If there is a miscommunication Try to resolve it in grace. The man talked down to me and over me and all I wanted was clarification because I was told to come back after 5 to change my room and he acted as if I lied. I was so emotionally spent I cried to my people and just couldn’t believe i was treated that way. If my hardworking uncle hadn’t already paid for the week I would check out instantly. We checked in the hotel for 1 week and I was placed in a room right by the entrance so and I guess the walls are not insulated because the room shakes and you can hear every heavy door slam and step. I hadn’t slept In 2 days so I asked the lady at the front if I could have my room changed, she said to come in the morning and they would see. The next day I came around 2 and was told that I should of came in the morning but I explained that I was unavailable and if there still a room available. She informed me that the cleaning staff had already left but she would inform the evening staff to put me in another room that was at the other end of the hall. I said no problem and that I would come back after 5. I don’t know what she communicated to the evening staff but the man was hostile to me and even threatened to call her like I was making it up. Sir why are you arguing with me? Why are you talking to me In this way?? I am a patron just like everyone else and deserve some dignity."
"Had a terrible experience and service from this hotel. We stayed for our wedding night was met at reception by a man who complained we were late. I still had my wedding dress on, weighed down with bags presents etc no offer to help. Entered their most expensive room with an awful damp smell. No loo roll or clean towels told reception without an apology. Also there were bulbs out stains on carpet and cracked sink. Room cost over £100! Sent an email explaining the issues over 2 weeks ago still no response. Their customer service needs addressing."
"I've not met such aggressive defensive front of house staff in a very long time. For a hospitality chain there was very little provided in the form of hospitality. I arrived early with my son for an event in the area. As I needed the room earlier I was asked to pay an additional £20. The woman I spoke to made me feel as though I was asking the earth and proceeded to tell me how full the hotel was and how difficult it would be. She however seemed to be able to allocate me a room. This room was on the ground floor, past the cloak room and between all the toilets and the back door. I went back to reception asking if there were any other room, being willing to wait a bit she said no. The room was dated and visibly unfinished. The grouting was incomplete in the bathroom. The sealant on the bath was undone. The toilet and sink was unattended to the wall in an unfinished unit of some kind. All harbouring bacteria I am sure. The room was not the room I had seen or booked - assuming we were downgraded. The back door was also open meaning I didn't feel particularly secure in what felt like "maids quarters". People (assumed to be staff) were in and out as well as people in and out of the bathroom. I went to the event leaving the other guest in the room. As there was no room service I called the hotel to ask if I could have food delivered to the hotel they agreed. I asked if they could take it to the room on arrival, they said they didn't do room service. I advised I wasn't asking for them to cook just to bring the delivery to the room. They agreed. The delivery came but they only sent part of the meal to the room. After 4 calls to reception the front of house proceeded to argue with me about not doing room service. Refusing to hear me speak. Telling me how under staffed they were and ended by telling me if I wanted the rest of the meal I would need to go get it myself. I was appalled at his tone and aggressive approach. I would have preferred his no to be no, rather than say yes and not do it entirely, and some how blame me. They had left part of the delivery and refused to take responsibility for an incomplete job. His tone and aggression was appalling. Upon my return that evening (appx 840pm) there was no on-site parking. I wasn't informed that this could be an issue have parked here before. I was confronted by again another defensive fornt of house man who told me I should know its first come first served. Gave me directions to another building. I asked if there wasn't anything on site as I didn't feel comfortable wondering around between buildings at night alone as a woman. He told me it was on site and asked me "what do you mean its not on site it the building behind this building". Seeing this was another argument about to start I left and parked in a dimly lit sid allocation for another building. No CCT. Very little light. For me, a female, at night it was horrible Im sorry to leave such a long review, but I am genuinely horrified at how rude, defensive, aggressive and argumentative the staff here have been. A total of £95 spent and I've nothing good to report. I'll remember how these staff made me feel above anything else"
