"I have been a patient at this practice for many years. The service has always been fantastic, from the receptionists though to the clinical nurses and GPs. Never had a problem getting an appointment and always had great care. This practice is a credit to the NHS, keep up the great work."
"The building is easy access via steps or a ramp, with automatic sliding doors to allow access to reception. There is hand sanitiser available before entering the main building, and also on the wall by the electronic touch screen sign in screen. Reception is easy to find, being directly opposite the entry doors, and there are plenty of seats available to wait on whilst awaiting your appointment. There is a lift just inside the main doors, that provides access to the facilities that are offered on the first floor if you require an easier way up than the staircase which is just to the side of the lift."
"SPMP offers a very professional service which continued even during lock down despite severe constraints. When necessary we have always been offered a f2f appointment. The ladies in reception at times deal with very difficult situations but do so with patience and diligence. Thank you."
"I always call on behalf of my mother and father in-law who I care for. The reception staff are extremely friendly and are always very helpful. The doctors always get back to me in a timely manner and always go the extra mile."
"I want to file complaint against a doctor that visited my son last week, Friday 9th September. Her name is Lara Walford and her behaviour towards patients is very unethical. I don't think so she follows the certain rules or obligations to be a proper doctor. She definitely doesn't have basic empathy. I went to her on Friday 9th September at 16.40, as my son is suffering from very frequently ear infections. The doctor just very briefly check his left ear and confirmed the infection. Without even bother to take his temperature or investigate why he is having such a frequently infections, she quickly checked the antibiotic that was prescribed to him only 3 weeks earlier from another doctor and proceeded to repeat the same prescription. I gave her a little of history of the situation and expressed my concerns on how much and how often my poor 4 years old have to take strong doses of antibiotics and I asked her if there was anything else we could do. She then disrespectfully answered: "Can you then afford a private doctor? This is the maximum we can do!" I honestly was shocked at first. I took my prescription and just left. Then I started to elaborate the rudeness and the inopportune answer she gave me. Obviously I cannot afford a private doctor, I wouldn't waste my time otherwise, but this is not the point. What kind of doctor answer like that?!?! Shouldn't a GP be there to help and reassure us? Should a GP be an ethical Doctor? I could have requested a repeat prescription myself without bothering to take an appointment, come to the surgery and be treated that way. I have changed medical centre recently because I thought that my original GP wasn't doing enough and now I ended up with a doctor that doesn't want to do her job properly and she is also very rude. My friend highly recommended this surgery but I am very disappointed. An apology would be appreciated."
