"Really disappointed with the service and the response to our complaint. We had always used this company and had never had issues in the past. This time, we booked a taxi for a short run from our local Indian. We pointed out that we would need a taxi rather than a minibus as one of our party is disabled. The driver called us 6 minutes before the time we booked; we told him that we were just paying our bill and would be out as soon as we had paid. One of the members of staff informed us that the taxi had already left. Checking the time, this was 4 minutes after the booking time. We were left stranded with a disabled elderly gentleman. We rang this morning and explained our dissatisfaction. There was no empathy from the company; their response was that if every customer was 4 minutes late, there would be disruption causing the day's last customer having to wait over an hour. Surely a little bit of compassion was in order, if only due to a disabled customer being stranded. They said that if they had known this was the case, the driver would have been more understanding. Again, on booking the taxi, we explained that one of the passengers was disabled. We told the person on the phone that we would not be using them again; his reply was "no problem". Great customer service."
