"First visit to the Grand Theatre, Blackpool. Went to see Spirit of the Dance, which was a great show. The theatre is easily accessible with and a short walking distance from nearby car parks. Inside, the theatre is smaller than others in the area, it has a cozy, intimate feeling, as well as grand - therefore living up to it's name. It was designed by a victorian architect and was completed in 1894, just 2 months after Blackpool Tower. Comfortable seatings, spacious ground floor areas. Would be able to easily accept disabled/wheelchair users. I recommend this theatre for anyone who like me, has not visited before."
"This theatre is gorgeous and certainly lives up to its name! It is like stepping back in time sitting down to watch a show. It's really central to Balckpool and 5 minutes walk from the Houndshill shopping centre and parking. Staff were really helpful and there were no queues for the toilets or bar. Really nice atmosphere and will be visiting again."
"Interesting old theatre that is quite well maintained and is probably worth a visit. Avoid the terraces front row balconies (we were sat A 38) unless you are really small! Sitting here is uncomfortable and very cramped. If you are afraid of heights make sure you sit a row back from the front on the balconies as the original feature low level safety barrier isn't really high enough especially when you are trying to move past other people. I would go back albeit in a different seating area."
"Such a lovely theatre, just the perfect size. Managed to get a front row seat on Saturday which was great as I felt a great connection to the band. (Queen tribute). Nice little bar to wait in before the show."
"Beautiful theatre! Absolutely stunning architecture and decor. Lovely staff. We saw a professional show and were not disappointed. Brilliant casting and fantastic set design. Tickets are a little pricey, but I understand why. We need to keep theatres like this alive!"
