Reviews
"I would strongly recommend, they are a friendly team, professional but also very pleasant/easy to work with. I've been with Easylet for 2 years now and they have been great, always helpful, highly recommended."
"First time renting on my own. Ella was very helpful and professional. Answered all my queries quickly and even helped me set up my bills. Would recommend."
"Was a tenant for 1.5 years at an Easylet managed property. Maintenance issues were dealt with swiftly and the end of the tenancy was also handled without any issue."
"Had the displeasure of dealing with Luke Crompton who is shockingly rude and unprofessional. Genuinely can't believe he is a lettings manager considering he had no idea what a tenancy agreement is actually for and was pressuring me to pay the full deposit and first months of rent BEFORE signing or even seeing the tenancy agreement which is ILLEGAL. Extremely dodgy company, avoid like the plague! EDIT: I'm shocked that you had the audacity to lie in your response considering you have the same emails I do... Firstly, I wasn't offered a draft of the tenancy agreement. I asked for a copy of the agreement and received a blank template. When asked for the complete tenancy agreement, I was told I need to pay rent and deposit first. Which brings me to my second point which is that according to the Tenant Fees Act of 2019, any money taken prior to the signing of the tenancy agreement is considered a holding deposit. Legally that deposit can only be 1 weeks rent, which makes your request illegal. Thirdly, you seem to be under the impression that signing the agreement will give me access to the property without paying deposit or rent, which proves my point that you have no understanding of this contract. In the contract there are sections that state that the tenant will need to pay rent and deposit AFTER the signing of the contract. If that is not fulfilled the tenant does not receive the keys. A contract is a mutual agreement for both sides. Please ask any of your colleagues to confirm this. The fact that you decided to be arrogant and lie instead of apologising speaks volumes."
