"I was directed to Lyons Davidson by my insurance company (LV). I personally did not deal with any individuals by used their Web Portal. Because I had previously made sketches of the accident and had witnesses, it was really a clear case that the other driver was in the wrong. The Portal worked; the emails were frequent, and I was able to easily upload the evidence. In all , it worked for me."
"Lyons Davidson were instructed by my insurance company to handle my accident claim. Their online portal was very good and meant I had access to all documents and correspondence. The only comment I would make is that the claim handler did not necessarily keep me abreast until I chased up but I guess that must be because of workload. "Avoid at all costs, the worst solicitors I have ever had the pleasure to deal with in my life. If I could have given zero star I would have done. The levels of communication are like nothing I have experienced ever. You have to do all the chasing and as noted by many other already they "Customer portal" is a waste of time. They never answer messages for weeks. Emails are the same and the only way you get to find out anything is to call. Rest assured you will have to do all the chasing, they will never contact you to keep you up to date or even push your claim for you. The speed in which their process your claim is a joke. To be quite frank the company should be ashamed of itself on how it conducts it's behaviour. I have a simply not at fault claim in which liability was admitted within the first 1-2 weeks. However here I am over a year later and I am no further on. You simply never get answer's from them and I can't see a resolve coming anytime soon. I have never come across a company with sure poor levels of communication and customer care. I was provided this company by my insurers and did not select them through choice. However if anything ever happens again in the future, I will be sure to ask who is representing me. I can not stress enough how much I would avoid this company and I will make sure I advise anyone I know or who asks to do the same. It is not a company name I will forget in a hurry, but it is for all the wrong reasons. Lyon Davidson, hang your heads in shame!"
"Very poor service. My insurance company really need to change to a more competent service. They don't read messages on the portal for weeks. They don't call you back when they say they will. The case handlers are rarely there to speak to. My case took 8 months to resolve. They don't argue for your case. THEY SIMPLY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT CAR INSURANCE CASES. Avoid avoid AVOID."
