"This company does business the way the Queen of Hearts conducted the Knave’s trial in Alice in Wonderland: 'Sentence first - verdict afterwards.' They completed the work – a consultation – and 2 months later sent their estimate, along with a late request to sign the contract. The pricing information I was given was sparse and as transparent as mud, so I challenged the inflated bill. But Mewies shamelessly defended it, conjuring up an imaginary narrative of what had been agreed. In the end, they cut the bill by more than a third and lost a client."
