"Friendly people and ideal location for stop off near M6. However.. Very very muddy approach, van plastered in mud, uneven pitches, unable to walk to any facilities (toilets/showers/bins) without getting muddy. Desperately requires footpaths, couldn't even wash shoes off as had to walk through mud to the nearest tap. Bins need labelling for recycling. Hate to leave bad feedback but it will take a lot of time for me to clean everything up. We tour regularly and from our experience, the site needs a lot of upgrading. Sorry."
"Fantastic site. Freshly redone hard standing pitches with electric, water and waste to the rear. I needed a warden to come and show me how to turn on the hookup but she came round quickly despite it being past 8pm. Facilities were clean and well heated. There was even a library of books, dvds and games which was great as we’d forgot to pack anything to watch. Definitely recommend and will return if we ever need a site in this area."
"What a beautiful location to have a few days break which my partner and I have just had....The site toilets and showers are cleaned at intervals throughout the day ....they're immaculate Will definitely be returning"
"Our hardstanding pitch was muddy and uneven, and upon arrival the pitch numbers had been covered up. This lead to us being asked to move from what we assumed was our pitch after we’d already set up and settled. The area was relatively quiet and the toilet facilities were better than expected but overall it felt disorganised compared to other parks."
"Lovely location and setting. Shower block and toilet facilities are good and clean. Love the little touch with the books. The only reason for the 4 star and not five is due to the pitches being quite uneven and the overflowing bins. In saying this it has not put us off from coming back and is a little hidden gem if you want peace and quiet and a love for fishing."
