"Pre booking a taxi two weeks in advance means absolutely nothing to this company. Didn't show, no courtesy call, operator was unhelpful, rude and unapologetic and couldnt advise when a taxi would be available. Left us in a very difficult situation with no way to get to our destination and return journey was void because they couldn't take us to leave a deposit with the driver for the return."

"It was a good taxi firm but I am shocked at how the operators think they can talk to customers. The drivers are so friendly and always great to talk to but the female operator is so rude and snappy. A month ago we booked a taxi in advance to go to an important doctors appointment. After 15 mins of not showing we rang up and apparently “the driver had disappeared” but was sending another. 15 more minutes go by and the second driver had disappeared. We cancelled the taxi and had to get the bus which made us late. We are regulars and expected to be told the truth that the cars had been used to pick up other customers. Today, I have experienced a horrible conversation with the operator for her rude attitude when my 14 year old brother who got confused and went to the wrong place to be picked up. When trying to change the place to pick up I asked if the driver had got to the original pick up point. I asked can he be picked up at the bus station and she snapped back saying “why did you ask if he was there if you want it in a different pick up point”. She got very arsey and was rude in her manner of speaking. The call ended with her hanging up. Due to be pregnant this has really upset me due to being extra sensitive already."

"Recently booked with Market Cars for an airport transfer. Booking and payment was easy, straight-forward. I can’t remember their names but the customer service was good from both drivers and it would’ve been nice to mention them by name here. Thank you both anyway! Edit: I’ve had to edit this today (11/08/22) just to say thank you to one of your friendly drivers who took his own phone off charge just so I could charge mine, on the way to the hospital with an injury. Going above and beyond. He’s a real credit to Market Cars."
