"Ticked off the bucket list. The chap with long hair was lovely and polite. He explained everything very well. Great experience at a very reasonable price."
"Came here for my birthday and had an overall wonderful time with friends. Here are some Pros: • Good, new & unique experience • Had a personal coach (Shiv was ours, she was friendly) to show us the ropes. • Friendly Staff • Area was nice and spacious with tables so great for large groups to chill Cons: • £33 (tax included because we live in the UK) for 90 minutes is steep. • We didn’t really have a problem with this because our group was large but AFTER you book it, they tell you this: “Your booking has a minimum number of admissions that must be paid for on the day of your event. Even if you have less guests than the minimum, you must still pay for the minimum number of admissions based on the number of lanes reserved: 1 lane (2 targets) - minimum of 4” *Not really worth it if you go as a 2 since you end up paying £66pp • As mentioned above, there are 4 people per target so you have to share. In large groups, you wait quite a bit to have a go. We had 8 people in total with 2 targets. When we went, it was quiet and only started to pick up as we were leaving. We could have easily been given more of the vacant targets for our group. Although we had a wonderful time and vibes were great as a friendship group, looking at it retrospectively, I don’t really think it’s worth the money per person since you hardly get throwing time if you’re a large group. It’s advertised as being £27 pp but with tax added it ends up being £33. I think staying within the 20s bracket would make it more value for money/having a student discount option etc."
"My husband and I visited Bad Axe on a whim one day while we were at Boxpark Wembley and this did not disappoint! Our host was fantastic and by the end of the hour, we were loving it (whether the throw was good or bad!). The staff are helpful, the place is kept really clean, and we felt very safe with all distancing, sanitation, and safety requirements (you are throwing sharp blades after all). Axe throwing is definitely not just for the athletically gifted; even I got into it and was loving it despite not being that sporty otherwise. You'll definitely feel so badass doing this. We can't wait to do it again!"
