"My 3 eldest children have attended here, all done really well and I couldn't be more grateful of the support that this school gave us. 2 of my children have additional needs and they have been absolutely outstanding."
"My son first day in school may Allah bless him long life and Good health Ameen : )"
"I just attended a parent meeting with my sons teacher. I was informed that there are 450 pupils at this school. The headteacher never mentioned this, when he started in reception class, over a year ago. I must say it has been an absolute pleasure to meet my sons Year 1 teacher, clearly loves children and very professional and he is always talking about her at home."
"I had a meeting with the head at 2.45 on 14th of Feb - Miss D Wilson. What an incompetent individual, ignorant and a blatant liar. I made an informal request about behaviour of an parent towards my child!? Lol they have taken 6 weeks to look into and she has escalated it to the fact where I am going to have to take this complaint above her. She was so unprofessional in the meeting I was alone so I had no witnesses but she called my sons dad today and denied all that she said to me? There is a huge problem with Huddersfield’s schools and daycare/ nurseries in general. Please see also my experience of first class nurseries part of the birkbees group. They say they care about the kids, all they care about are the targets that they have - getting kids in on time for lessons and attendance. Ending on a positive they have acknowledged just today that my child has potential problems which I did highlight with first class nurseries. Better result than what I got with them. I feel am trapped with this school now as I can’t uproot my child due to his problems he needs routine. If you have a meeting with this head teacher, please ensure you have someone with you, as she said to me this school which she is the head of is as bad as the schools in Crosland Moor? She has no people skills whatsoever! I’m still angry and in shock, but I will continue to fight for my child, like any parent. I had to speak to my sons speech therapist to get my son the right help. She was amazing and without her help, my son would still be battling with his condition undiagnosed. As Mrs Walsh my sons teach kept saying there is nothing wrong as did the carers at first class nursery. You are your child’s advocate keep pushing until they listen and do something."
"You have to really think about where you send your kids. What kind of people are teaching your kids. The moment kids leave this school, they leave with a secular/non religious mindset, this isn't good, not for the long-term. Very surprised to see how children were left on their own."
