"Tourists beware: total rip off! Tesco metro is down the road. Sainsbury’s on the other."
"Very rude staff, i asked for a bottle of wine and they charged me 12 pounds without even showing me what it was. I tried to open the bag to look at it but the guy shouted saying i can’t open it, i suppose because it was past 11pm and it’s illegal to sell alcohol, but they do anyway. It turned out to be a cheap bottle and the bag was ripped so the bottle fell just outside the shop and broke. Insulted by a dodgy looking guy and 12 pounds gone to waste in less than a minute"
"I’m a bit concerned about the financial systems of this shop. They’ve been ok when they opened years ago. But not even single time I was there to buy the same items, and every single time the price was too high, incredibly increased. And the stuff not professional at all. They playing with you ok: I’ll give you a bit cheaper. Like on the market they playing with you. Not genuine at all. Poor tourist in this area if they coming to this shop."
"The co-worker was absolute rude and bold. I asked to change 150 EUR to british pounds and even asked if I‘ll get about £ 125 back. He just responded they don‘t use the internet rate. I became insecure and shown him the rate on his table and asked if this (especially the rate in the upper left corner - 1.20 ) is right. He said ‚yes‘ and only returned me about £80 instead of about £ 120. After discussing he got very rude, disrespectful and he also blaimed the attitude of my friend. I don‘t know his name, actually even don‘t want to know it, but really don‘t ever change your money there or visit this shop with such an unacceptable ‚service‘!"
"Standard shop/kiosk. VERY centrally located at Leicester Square. Can find snacks, sweets, beers/wine and even tabaco products and parafernália. They were open during the pandemic, so thank you for staying open!"
