"Excellent Professional Staff; they go above and beyond in the community. Supportive of all persons including those with disabilities. Friendly, helpful and ALWAYS hardworking. The shop and customers is not easy to deal with; but the team work hard, and get the job done. #payrise ! Food and drink can go quickly in the shop because it supports a large community and passing trade; although I always get what I need or an alternative."
"I don't really do grocery shop at this Tesco Express, I tend to use it as an convenience store. Walking pass will just pop in pick up a cold drink from the fridge. Then on my way again. It does look fairly well stocked whenever I visit."
"Expiry warning! A lot of fruits, vegetables, dairy and meat items expire in the past, that same day or the next day. Make sure you check the date before buying. Also despite the skyrocketing covid rates in London, a defiant staff member continues to walk around without a mask. Seems after reading other reviews it's quite common to see staff without a mask here. It's a real shame as this Tesco is a lifeline for the immediate neighborhood but seems it's not a reliable place to buy food that won't expire as soon as you take it home."
"Good shop for the locals if we ever run out of anything such as things like milk or bread. Small aisles so much so customers have to literally squeeze pass each other. One thing I don't understand is why customers have to pay a little extra for the same item that they sell in a big Tesco store for e.g. Honey Nut Cornflakes are £1.30 in this Tesco Express whereas they are priced at £1.00 in Tesco Extra. Staff are helpful. A few customers were not wearing face masks for some reason. I like the new system they have got now which is the red and green light for making sure the store does not become overcrowded. Great idea! Thumbs up Tesco for that one! Overall it's not a bad store for picking up a few little bits but could be a little more spacious though."
"Came to buy blueberries at my local tesco express only to find that all of the berries expires tomorrow, and that all of them contained mouldy berries that gone bad already, asked two members of staff if they had any fresh ones or if they could reduce the price of them, as it seemed very expensive to pay £2 for 150 gram mouldy blueberries. They both said no, poor service and products Tesco !"
