"This store is too dam tief, why is it more expensive than the large store. Not ordering from this ridiculous store again"
"Probably the worst tesco in history!!! Staff are so rude!!! Especially the old man at the bakery section poor customer service!!!!!!!!!"
"8.45 today, paid on Apple Pay, went through on my phone, shows on account, called back and told to wait (not sorry or excuse me). Demanded to pay again as money on the staff members screen never went though. 15 minute debate on shop floor, staff member entrenched and refused to give me any proof payment had been declined until after I paid a second time. Voiced raised, admittedly on both sides, told it’s my fault and I need to talk to bank, staff would not acknowledge my point of view and no recognition that he may have just wiped out my account abs I may not have funds to pay twice. Humiliating and dire customer services, respect to his colleague for stepping in and backing him up, two staff on one customer in front of a queue of customers who by now we’re laughing. He wouldn’t even write in a scrap of paper that payment had been declined u till after I’d paid a second time - that’s £60 for a small bag of groceries. I’m really disappointed that when tesco’s systems fail the customers are blamed and told it’s our responsibility to fix it, even more disappointed that clearly when a customer feels trapped and bullied into spending twice tesco’s preferred strategy is go couple up and shout at the customer. Is this how staff are trained or their own interpretation of the rules? Finally, please can you sort it so when a payment is declined proof is given and staff aren’t just locked into a wall of ignorance and dismissing their customers. Totally disappointed in my local store"
"In times of rising Corona numbers and all shop customers as well as employees legally obliged to wear face coverings at all times you will find in this store that always more than half of the customers roam the isles without face coverings and even some staff are. Confronting a team member as well as the store manager with this you get responses ranging from "nobody is obliged to wear them" to "we can't wear them all the time when we work from noon till the evening". Statements like this are nothing short than a slap in the face for health workers or those in hospitality who, other than Tesco employees, are able to work very well wearing face coverings (and to enforce this also with patients/visitors/customers) and who are equally more impacted by any Covid measures than any Tesco employee ever would be."
"Waiting times are awful when there is a line. Only ever 1 or 2 staff members on the till rarely 3. Furthermore the staff never try to direct you to the item only give you a rough guide because what they are doing is more important then my money."
