Reviews
"Convenient if anything. Located right in the middle of all the nightlife. Cheap and cheerful if your looking for a snack or basic items. Not huge but there is a sufficient choice of items. Opens late. Staff are pleasant."
"Staff here are very rude and clueless. I go here often because I work nearby so I don't really mind it because I usually do self checkout. I really needed lemsip because of my cold, and didn't realise I needed my ID. There was this one cashier that knows me and used to sell cigarettes to me, so obviously knows I'm over 18. He didn't even bat an eye when this other cashier asked for my ID, even though I was pretty desperate to buy the medicine. I asked for the manager, but even he seemed so lost and confused when I asked "can you please sell this to me, I just have a really bad cold and can't find it anywhere near here. I'm definitely over 16". He stutters and goes "ummm I mean I don't really know....it's age restricted so...I don't know". It's not the asking for ID that bothers me, it's just the cluelessness of not just staff but management, telling me he doesn't know when it's a very easy yes or no question."
"Firstly, the staff didn’t know what minced beef was? But he did help us when we were looking for sugar. Basically, they have got either mince beef or sugar. Then it took a long time at the automatic till for someone to remove the bottle security tag for us. Tesco has a lot to offer and only 5 min walk from there."
