"Shopping is meant to be an enjoyable experience . The store is fine but you have to wait for an eternity to pay. My advice is use amazon they are much easier and have better product quality."
"I had a poor experience in here with a member of staff today. I was browsing the packs of underwear whilst a staff member was tidying up nearby. I opened a pack of underwear to count them as it didn't look like a full packet (it wasn't, there should have been 4 but there was 3), and was told very rudely not to open them and to read the sign that says not to open the underwear. I explained that it was already open and that I was just checking if they were all there and she said that she'd just spent ages tidying and sorting them all out. I said well it's not a full pack and if I didn't check I would've ended up buying a half empty packet of underwear to which she replied that she "wasn't going to argue with me". I work in retail and understand that it can be frustrating when a customer messes up what you have just cleaned, HOWEVER the way that this lady spoke to me was terrible. She wasn't friendly at all and if she had simply asked me to put them back when I was done I would've understood. But if she had taken a second to actually look at what I was doing she would've seen that I wasn't ruining her display at all. And to then say that she wasn't arguing with me when she instigated the discussion was ridiculous. I'll just assume that she was having a bad day because if that's how she speaks to every customer then I can't imagine her keeping her job for long"
"if you want an honest opinion of oldham's primark here it is: this place is welcoming, and it's warm, maybe too warm. though the first thing you'd probably notice, is while wafting through the clothing, you're going to be jammed with the people coming through, it needs a bit of spacing out really, it's cramped and it's uncomfortable when you're directly making eye contact with the person near you. also not to mention, some of the clothes here are really really nice, you find nice cheap things that are of good quality and can find literally anything you need for the right price and it's just.. easy to buy things really. which is what makes it a good store. sometimes, there'll be some issues with the cleaning quality of the store, particularly around the makeup area, people will use the makeup sometimes and if you're someone who worries about hygiene, then there's your issue. but the makeup area, is rather small and could do with a bit more 'umf' to make it accessible and probably ore enjoyable in sales for customers and staff. sometimes the floor will be a little dirty. that's not really an issue. the elevator works fine and will work fine. there's a good handful of things for the house, baby clothes, mens and girls. staff are helpful, for the few reactions i have with them because it's just so easy to find what you're looking for. queues will be long; probably because it's a good place and primark does a lot for oldham. but there's a lot of people on the tills normally, and someone observing them, both up till and down till. that's the review."
"How the mighty have fallen! This store is absolute rubbish, everything is just everywhere, no decent order for where things are placed. Don't get me started on the extremely poor quality of the materials, oh man it is bad! The staff I spoke to were wonderful and helpful."
"Great selection of clothes. Especially when they are well known brands."
